Seasons on Modrá Farma
Summer
Months of July and August
In the summer Modra Farma is buzzing with activities. The cozy terrace and bar are open. In addition to various coffee varieties, this bar also offers tea, lemonades, soft drinks, ice creams, etc. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, children can help feed the animals. The animals also like to be cuddled. Pony rides for children are also held on the same days. The playground with sandpit, swings and slide are available for the little ones. The older guests can use the fire pit for grilling, cooking goulash or for a nice chat. The barbecue area with tables, chairs and of course a gas barbecue are available to everyone. Because the weather is wonderfully warm in the summer, there is also a cooling swimming pool. Both the accommodations and the camping pitches are often full. Reservations are then advisable.
Autumn
Months of September, October and November
Autumn is a harvest month. All fruit trees are full of fruit and nuts. The weather is stable, sunny and dry with very pleasant temperatures. Fairly dry and sunny weather. You can then experience fruit being picked from the trees. In autumn it is quite quiet at Modra Farma. There are only a few guests in the accommodations and at the campsite. We, as owners, often think it is a shame that there are so few guests. The weather is lovely then. The bar is open to a limited extent and the swimming pool is closed, but the rest of the facilities are fully at your disposal. It is a beautiful time of year to go out in nature, which then has beautiful colors.
Winter
Months of December, January, February and March.
It is a great season for real peace lovers. There are very limited numbers of guests and only some accommodations are open for this season. The facilities are then not available. It is possible to rent accommodation for a longer period of time at a reduced price. The winter months can be cold, about -10 or colder, but there is a wood stove inside that is nice and warm. Spring
Months of April, May and June.
There is work to be done in the spring. Then work is done on site. Some accommodations are open. Even then there are few guests and the weather can be surprisingly warm. The nights are chilly. Spring is an ideal time of year for walking. Guests can help if they like, but they can also enjoy the spring sun.
